Barefoot Path Yoga
Tom
Tom is the voice behind Barefoot Path Yoga, offering simple, honest classes for real people. There’s no big performance, no pressure, and no expectation to “get it right.” Just a space to move, breathe, and switch off from the technological swamp we all live in today.
His teaching focuses on helping people feel more comfortable in their own bodies, especially if they’re new, unsure, or think yoga “isn’t for them.” Classes are clear, practical, and down to earth, with an emphasis on building confidence, easing tension, and making things actually make sense.
It’s not about flexibility or perfection. It’s about showing up, doing what you can, and leaving feeling better than when you walked in.
Based in West Yorkshire, Tom teaches both in-person and on YouTube, building a space that’s welcoming, accessible, and free from the usual expectations.

SuZen Yoga
Suzanne
I found yoga during a time when life felt overwhelming and I was searching for peace. What began as a way to breathe through stress became my path to healing, clarity and connection. Yoga helped me to slow down, reconnect with myself and feel grounded. I now want to guide others into finding their calm.
With over 200 hours of yoga teacher training and trauma-informed training, I guide students through breathwork and gentle, mindful movement. My classes are designed to help you quiet the noise, turn into your body and find your sense of calm. SuZen Yoga isn't about pushing or performing - it's about listening to your body at that moment and moving in a way that feels true to you.
I often practice outside, where the wind moves through the trees and the sky opens wide above. So, if you hear me say, "look to the sky" it's because in my mind - that is where we are - surrounded by nature, held by the earth and connected to something bigger than ourselves.
SuZen Yoga isn't about being able to touch your toes. It's about showing up, being present and finding your calm - even if it's just for a little while. Everyone is welcome, exactly as they are. I'll meet you on the mat.

Emma Smith
Description goeMy yoga journey started 5 years ago. I started attending classes at a time when I needed to find a sanctuary. I needed to find myself and re-build my life.
I was uncertain how I would fit into a yoga class. I didnt have any of the attributes I associated with yoga students. Walking into my first class, taking a place on a mat in a full class was terrifying, but I did it. I found I enjoyed it. Being on the mat was time out just for me. No demands, no pressure, no stress, just time to really connect with myself.
I never imagined then I would be teaching yoga, but went on to complete 200 hour teacher training, qualifying in December 2025. In March this year I completed a course in yoga Nidra.
Yoga has also been a positive tool for managing my chronic pain from endometriosis, fibromyalgia and lower back injury.
My main work is within the NHS, as a clinician I am passionate about delivering holistic, person-centred and empathic care which is replicated in my yoga work. I have an interest in improving vagal nerve function allowing the body to rest and digest - a weekly re-set.
I feel it is important that yoga is accessible to everyone and I particularly enjoy welcoming people who have felt they may not fit in, are not fit enough or flexible enough, to my classes.
The space I hold is non-judgemental, inclusive and supportive. I aim to empower you to explore yoga practice working with your body to meet your goals.s here -

Navigate the Inner Compass
Steph
Steph offers trauma-informed, body-based practices that gently support people to reconnect with their body, breath, and nervous system. Her work bridges the gap between mind and body, inviting clients into deeper safety within themselves to release what’s held, ignite what’s alive, and to anchor in presence.
Rooted in lived experience alongside accredited training (CMA, IBF & CPD), Steph brings a calm, deeply intuitive and grounding presence to her work. Clients share how they feel able to truly switch off, drop out of their head, and experience a level of relaxation, clarity, and nervous system calm they hadn’t accessed before (see Trust Pilot).
Her specialisms include energising Kundalini Activation Process (KAP) and trauma-informed de-armouring massage, alongside conscious breathwork and somatic unwinding. These practices support emotional release, nervous system regulation, and embodied vitality in a way that is safe, gentle, and deeply respectful of the human experience.
Steph understands healing from the inside out – not as something to fix, but something to listen to, pace, and allow. Her approach is always client-led, consent-based, and guided by what the body is ready for in each moment.
With over 15 years’ experience supporting people through complexity and transition, Steph is committed to bringing new, accessible body-based healing experiences into the local community – creating spaces that feel held, human, and welcoming, where nothing is forced and presence itself becomes the medicine.

Healing Edge
Emma
I’m Emma, a sound healing practitioner offering soothing sound baths at The Loft in Skipton — a calming space where you can relax, reset, and reconnect through the power of sound. My sound baths are all about letting go of the noise (literally and figuratively!) and tuning into calm. Using crystal bowls, gongs, chimes and more, I guide you through a sound journey that melts away stress, balances your energy, and leaves you feeling lighter, clearer, and recharged.
My own healing journey began with Angelic, Holy Fire, and Usui Reiki, and when I discovered sound healing, everything fell beautifully into place. I absolutely adore this work — it truly makes my heart sing — and I love sharing its magic with others.
Whether you’re new to sound healing or already love it, my sessions are a safe, welcoming space to simply be.

Ros Driver
Hi,I'm Ros, of Radiant Light Reiki. Just to introduce myself, I have been a nurse for 47 years!! Goodness! .I feel this is why I have been drawn to alternative therapies, seeing how the two different approaches to health care can work so well hand in hand.
I have always loved anything a little different, but only got the opportunity to explore which direction I wanted to go in a couple of years ago.
I started with Reiki 1 and 2,and fairly recently completed my Level 3 Masters. I absolutely love Reiki,it is so calming and grounding, even for me who is channeling it
I am at present having a monthly group Reiki with meditation session on the fourth Tuesday of the month. I also have my own treatment room in Silsden for one to one sessions.
I do have plans to incorporate Chakra Balancing into the group sessions, with Reiki, and am currently undertaking my Sound Therapy training,so that I can do Reiki with sound healing.
There will be new skills which I am currently working on,which will be added into the sessions,so watch this space 😀

Emma Golding
Hello, I’m Emma, offering Vinyasa and Yin yoga in Skipton and Keighley. I turn to yoga at all times of day; whether I’m feeling energised or in need of grounding and I love sharing this practice with others.
I bring energy, warmth, and genuine passion into every class, and my intention is always to create a space where you feel supported, connected, and truly at ease.
In my classes, I guide students through mindful movement, conscious breath, and moments of stillness, creating a practice that nurtures both body and mind. I focus on alignment, awareness, and accessible variations, helping each student build strength, flexibility, and inner calm. My teaching encourages presence and intention, supporting you in developing a deeper connection to yourself.
I especially enjoy supporting those who are curious, seeking calm, and ready to feel empowered in body and mind.
My aim is that you leave each class feeling calmer, stronger, and more grounded.
Outside of teaching (and spending plenty of time on my mat!), I work full-time and enjoy exploring on long walks, and escaping to the countryside to recharge and reconnect with nature.

Hannah Swales
Hannah’s yoga journey began in her teens, practising alongside her grandmother, but it was during the 2020 lockdown that yoga became an essential lifeline. Her time on the mat continues to be a sanctuary - a safe space away from the chaos of daily life and global uncertainties.
Having completed a 200-hour Vinyasa and Pranayama teacher training in 2025, Hannah is passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga with others. She is especially empathetic towards the stiff yogi, having navigated her own challenges with flexibility. Her approach focuses on letting go of ego and celebrating progress in all its forms.
Her classes are a balanced Vinyasa flow that can be a little challenging at times, but always supportive. Students are guided to move with the breath while building strength, mobility, and balance. With clear instruction, options, variations and optional hands-on adjustments, Hannah aims to create a welcoming space where everyone can explore what works for their body. Each session includes breathwork and meditation, leaving students feeling stronger, calmer, and more grounded.
